2001 - 2009
May-Graduation from Texas State University w/ a BS in Agribusiness.
June- Fire that devastated our Commissary and Warehouse.
Walking in the shadow of my father.
Working 80 hours week.
Solely responsible to continue family legacy.
2017 - 2020
Mom passed.
Made the decision to sell the family business.
Worked to create a sellable and self-sufficient business.
2020
January, listed the business for sale.
March, COVID HIT. Didn’t panic. Why? A financial and self-sufficient business had been created.

Took the business off the market.
Balancing family and work life was challenging.
2009 - 2012
DNA Events was created.
Business was struggling financially.
Thrust into the leadership position due to Dad’s failing health.
2012 - 2017
Dad passed.
Search for my identity within the business.
Continued to grow the company.
2014 became a mother.
Took a vacation twice a year. In the summer for an entire month.
2020 - 2022
Pivoted the business.
April 2022, listed business again to sell.
September, the family business SOLD!
November, completed continuing education studies in Life Coaching.
2023
Kathryn Albarado Generational Business & Life Coaching was born.
